Editorial Standards
Last updated: August 2026
World Billionaires Day covers wealth, business and luxury. Because we write about real, named people and their finances, we set out plainly here how our material is produced, where it comes from, and how to challenge it.
Where our information comes from
Net worth figures, birth dates and biographical details are compiled from public reporting, company filings and published wealth rankings. These are estimates maintained by third parties and they change often. We show them as indicative, not as audited financial statements.
Two kinds of content
- Original editorial — written for this publication, credited to the W.B.D. editorial desk, and intended to stand on its own.
- Syndicated summaries — short digests of reporting first published elsewhere. These always name the originating publication and link to it. We do not present another outlet's reporting as our own.
Use of AI
We use AI tools to help draft and structure some articles. Every piece is generated against a specific factual source, checked against quality thresholds before publication, and remains the responsibility of the editorial desk rather than of any tool. We do not publish AI-generated claims about a person's finances that are not grounded in the source material.
Corrections
If a figure, date or fact here is wrong, we want to fix it. Write to us through the contact page with the page address and what is incorrect. We correct confirmed errors promptly and, where a correction is substantive, note it on the page.
Independence
Some links on this site are affiliate links, and we may earn a commission on purchases made through them. Commercial relationships never determine whether a subject is covered or how it is described. Nobody featured on this site pays to appear, and we do not accept payment to remove or alter coverage.
This is not advice
Nothing here is financial, investment, tax or legal advice. Figures are estimates and are published for general information only.
